Position Overview
The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise Agentic AI solutions within Microsoft and Google ecosystems. This role focuses on building conversational AI agents, integrating Generative AI and NLP capabilities, developing secure APIs, deploying AI models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to modernize business processes using emerging AI technologies.
Required Skills
  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred) 
  • 5+ years of IT experience 
  • 2+ years of AI Conversational Agent implementation using Microsoft and Google ecosystems
  • 1+ year of Microsoft Power Platform experience 
  •  Experience with Microsoft Foundry (Agentic AI) – Required
  •  Experience developing SharePoint Online solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
  •  Experience with Google Dialogflow CX, Google Conversational Agents, and Google CCAI Services 
  •  Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python
  •  Experience with REST APIs, web services, and systems integration 
  •  Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI 
  •  Experience training, deploying, and monitoring AI models 
  •  Strong communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
