Position: Therapist
Schedule: Full-Time Days
Special Note: School-Based Position

Kid's Thrive Southern Columbus is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Therapist to join our team in a school-based setting. This is an opportunity to support children and adolescents where they learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services while collaborating with students, families, school personnel, and the clinical team to promote positive emotional, behavioral, and social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy services to students in a school-based environment.
  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor student progress and update treatment goals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other professionals as appropriate.
  • Support students in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and behavioral strategies.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations.
  • Respond appropriately to student needs and behavioral or emotional concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Establish positive, professional relationships with students and school personnel.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Appropriate clinical licensure or eligibility based on applicable state requirements.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred.
  • School-based or community-based behavioral health experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, professional, and culturally responsive approach to care.
