Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Full-Time / Competitive Pay / 20k Sign on Bonus

Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our respiratory care team. In this vital role, you will assess, treat, and educate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' breathing and cardiopulmonary function.
  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and nebulizer treatments.
  • Monitor patients' response to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Assist in emergency procedures such as CPR, intubation, and managing ventilators.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory conditions and home care techniques.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective, coordinated patient care.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required.
  • Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
  • State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within a healthcare team.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations.
