MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to join an independent community hospital offering excellent benefits, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment!
Schedule for Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT):
  • Position: Part-Time, Night Shift
  • Hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Shift Differentials: $5.00 for night shifts, $2.00 for weekends, and $2.50 for evening shifts
Job Summary and Responsibilities for Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT):
As a Respiratory Care Provider (RCP), you will deliver high-quality respiratory care services in line with physician orders and departmental protocols. Reporting to the Medical Director of Respiratory Care Services and the Department Director, your duties include:
  • Providing respiratory care across all age groups, including emergency intubation
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of all care and procedures
  • Monitoring patient comfort and safety through continuous assessment
  • Performing physical tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, and assisting patients in various clinical settings
  • Lifting equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
  • Working long shifts with limited guaranteed meal breaks
This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Qualifications for Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT):
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program
  • NBRC-certified Respiratory Technician (CRT) or NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with licensure from the Ohio Respiratory Care Board
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Ohio
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Preferred: At least three years of experience in cardiopulmonary services
