Client Partner – Retail (Columbus, OH)

About the Role

Sogeti is looking for a Client Partner based in Columbus, Ohio (or willing to relocate) with strong experience in Retail.

The Client Partner is an executive-level role responsible for driving overall client portfolio growth, delivering high-quality engagements, and strengthening long-term client relationships. This role combines business development, account leadership, and delivery oversight to maximize client value and profitable growth.


Position Overview

The Client Partner (Retail) is responsible for the client account’s delivery portfolio of engagements as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.


Ensures long-term relationship value creation and profitable growth for a key client account

Operates at the intersection of business development and delivery leadership

Acts as a trusted operational and technology advisor to CIO-level stakeholders

Leverages prior engagement management (EM) experience while taking on expanded responsibilities across account strategy, growth, and delivery governance


What You Will Do


Account Leadership & Growth


Own and manage large strategic accounts (typically $5M–$15M+)

Drive organic growth and identify new revenue opportunities


Business Development


Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities within the client account

Focus on expanding services across Healthcare, Payer, and Insurance domains


Executive Engagement


Build and maintain relationships with C-level stakeholders, including CIOs

Serve as a trusted advisor on operational and technology initiatives


Delivery Oversight


Oversee the portfolio of engagements to ensure successful delivery, quality, and client satisfaction

Partner with delivery leaders to ensure outcomes align with client expectations


Revenue & Profitability Management


Own revenue, margin, and growth targets for the account

Manage forecasting, pricing, contracts, and profitability


Strategic Account Planning


Define account strategy aligned with client business and technology priorities

Position innovative solutions leveraging AI, cloud, and data capabilities


Leadership & Team Alignment


Provide leadership across sales, consulting, and delivery teams

Foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance


What You Will Bring


Proven experience managing and growing large enterprise accounts in IT consulting

Strong background in Retail.

Demonstrated success in business development and account expansion

Executive presence with ability to influence C-level stakeholders (CIO and beyond)

Strong understanding of technology solutions (AI, cloud, digital, application development)

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
