Human Resources Business Partner - Remote w Travel


Remote role with Travel 3x a week. (Ohio - Columbus/Cincinnati/Cleveland areas)

Work remotely with 3 days of exciting travel each week, partnering with senior leaders to craft bold HR strategies that drive business success. Dive into the action with field visits, building strong ties with Operations, resolving employee challenges, and championing compliance with wage/hour laws, FMLA, and ADA. Lead dynamic training sessions, manage performance evaluations, and fuel talent acquisition through hiring events and compelling job descriptions. Tackle HR Hotline calls, conduct investigations, and shape policies that empower teams. With 5 years of HR generalist experience (or a bachelor’s + 3 years), plus sharp MS Office skills (HRIS a bonus, SHRM PHR preferred), you’ll thrive in this high-energy role. • At least 5 years of broad HR generalist experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years of relevant human resources experience.
• Demonstrated success supporting multi-site or multi-unit operations, preferably in hospitality, retail, restaurant, or similarly fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience managing employee relations issues, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of HR systems and processes, including onboarding, employee records management, and general HRIS usage.
• Understanding of employment law, including wage and hour compliance, in a multi-state environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence leaders and build trust with employees at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage priorities independently in a remote, travel-based role.
