Wire Harness Designer

Job Title: Wire Harness Designer

Location: Raymond, OH – Onsite



Job Descriptio

nClient is seeking a detail-oriented Wire Harness Designer to support the development and maintenance of standard electrical components and wire harness libraries within the 3DEXPERIENCE environment

.Key Responsibilitie

  • sDefine and add electrical components to the standard component library in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)
  • .Research electrical and wire harness components and communicate with suppliers to obtain technical information
  • .Assist with completion of clip and connector rear views within the Capital Symbol Library
  • .Support the development and maintenance of 3DX modeling standards, particularly interfaces with component libraries
  • .Manage new component requests received through Jira
  • .Maintain accurate status and tracking of component and symbol development activities
  • .Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure component models and symbols meet design requirements
  • .Support continuous improvement and standardization of harness component libraries

.Required Qualification

  • sExtensive experience with 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V6, and/or CATIA V5
  • .Automotive electrical/wire harness design experience preferred
  • .Strong attention to detail
  • .Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • .Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • .Ability to manage multiple component requests and meet deadlines

.Nice to Hav

  • eExperience developing or standardizing electrical components for wire harness applications
  • .Experience with electrical component libraries
  • .C++ knowledge
  • .EKL knowledge for developing automation within 3DEXPERIENCE
  • .Experience with Siemens Capital / Mentor Graphics
  • .Experience with connector, clip, terminal, and harness component modeling
