Physical Security Systems Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid and Remote Position)

Rate - DOE

·         Deep hands-on experience with at least one enterprise PACS on your shortlist (Genetec, LenelS2 OnGuard, C•CURE 9000, or Pro-Watch), ideally certified (e.g., Genetec SC-OMN/SYN, Lenel Certified Expert)

·         Access control design: clearance/zone models, anti-pass back, multi-factor readers, mantrap/turnstile design

·         Credential technology expertise: HID Seos/DESFire, mobile credentials, badge lifecycle management

·         Video surveillance design: camera placement, VMS configuration, retention sizing, AI analytics tuning

·         ALPR/vehicle gate design: lane layout, camera positioning, intercom/exception workflows

·         Emergency mustering system design, including offline operation and muster-point hardware

·         Experience deploying in industrial/chemical environments: hazardous-area (ATEX/Class I Div 2) hardware, corrosive atmospheres, plant safety integration (fire alarm, gas detection)

·         Regulatory familiarity: CFATS/MTSA site security plans, ISO 27001 Annex A physical controls

·         Multi-site global rollout experience, including legacy PACS migration and badge cutover planning

·         Ability to produce design documents, door schedules, and commissioning/test plans, and to supervise integrator quality
