Job Summary
client is seeking a highly skilled Frontend React Developer to join the team responsible for modernizing the ATM platform. This team develops customer-facing applications that run directly on ATMs, requiring expertise in building interactive, real-time applications rather than traditional dashboard-based UIs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with React.js, JavaScript, Node.js, and WebSockets, along with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Cucumber. Experience with cloud technologies and Agile development is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern customer-facing applications using React.js.
- Build and integrate Node.js services and WebSocket-based real-time communication.
- Modernize existing applications using React, AWS, and Spring Boot technologies.
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-quality production code.
- Create reusable React components and maintain application performance.
- Write and maintain automated tests using Jest, Cypress, Cucumber, and Storybook.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and architecture discussions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js
- 2–3+ years of experience with Node.js
- 2–3+ years of experience building WebSocket-based real-time applications
- 5+ years of experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Cucumber
- Strong experience with TypeScript and React state management
- Experience developing customer-facing, interactive web applications
- Understanding of CI/CD, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software development best practices
