Job description

As an Inpatient Behavioral Health Psychiatrist at OhioHealth, you will receive the support needed to balance your personal and professional goals and impact our mission of improving the health of those we serve.

Description:

  • Serve as an Inpatient Behavioral Health Psychiatrist based at Dublin Springs, an OhioHealth/Lifepoint Joint Venture. This role is employed by OhioHealth Physician Group.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with the potential of move to 7 on 7 off in the future. Ideal candidate will be open to both schedule types.
  • Teaching and mentoring OhioHealth psychiatry residents, medical students, and an occasional fellow at Dublin Springs, providing evaluations and feedback. Associate/ Assistant Program Directorship awarded for involvement in GME duties.
  • Provide clinical coverage for up to 10 patients per day in a 24-bed inpatient unit. Care is dedicated to adults with diagnoses that will include mood and psychotic disorders, often with comorbid substance abuse disorder.

Requirements:

  • BE/BC Psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Teaching experience and an interest in an inpatient psychiatric setting (preferred)
