About this Position:
The HR Manager leads a team of dedicated human resources professionals committed to delivering exceptional service and support to both employees and organizational leaders. They serve as a strategic partner to leadership and serve as a trusted resource for employees. This role supports the entire employee life cycle - from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding - while fostering a harmonious, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for overseeing the HR team, including setting performance standards, evaluating staff, and supporting team members' growth and development
  • Serves as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters and recommends appropriate actions in response to performance and conduct issues
  • Strives to ensure fair and consistent application of Allied's policies
  • Leads full-cycle recruitment efforts, including marketing, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and hiring for hourly positions
  • Forms strategic partnerships with agencies & community contacts for hourly talent
  • Collaborates with team members regarding onboarding programs to ensure successful integration of new hires
  • Guides leaders in understanding and modeling the Allied Way
  • Leads event planning and internal community building activities
  • Maintains communication channels and ensures employees feel heard and valued
  • Continuously assesses, evolves, and optimizes HR operations including systems, processes, workflows, and service delivery
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Supports administration of absence management including FMLA, Personal Leaves, etc.
  • Ensures progressive HR policies and responds to evolving workforce needs
  • Leads research, projects, and other activities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to consult and influence leaders at various levels
  • Proven experience supporting manufacturing operations
  • Comfortable developing and implementing HR processes in a growing organization
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to be both strategic and hands-on
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred
