Job Description Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Principal Project Manager Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite) Duration: 12 Month Contract W2 Only, NO C2C Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead one or more intermediate to complex projects within a matrix team environment. This role is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and successfully delivering projects while ensuring safety, quality, budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, coordination, and effective communication across cross-functional teams while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities Manage one or more intermediate and/or complex projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closeout. Lead projects in a safe, efficient, economical, and risk-balanced manner while supporting both short- and long-term business objectives. Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and manage assigned project activities with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of project management.

Support and hold employees and contractors accountable for established safety processes, ensuring a safe working environment focused on Zero Harm. Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and project tools. Monitor project costs and effectively manage and reallocate funding as needed.

Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and issues to stakeholders through regular updates and presentations. Lead planning meetings, project reviews, outage updates, and detailed stakeholder presentations. Prepare clear and concise written reports, documentation, and project communications.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, internal customers, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and business partners. Foster teamwork while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. Provide guidance, instruction, and training to improve project systems, processes, procedures, schedules, and cost management.

Confidently challenge project assumptions and decisions using sound project management knowledge and business judgment. Ensure efficient execution of complex project work while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Supervise up to two direct reports, including performance planning, professional development, coaching, and mentoring activities, as assigned.

Required Qualifications Project Manager Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 3+ years of qualified experience. OR Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 5+ years of qualified experience. Senior Project Manager Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 5+ years of qualified experience.

Principal Project Manager Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 7+ years of qualified experience. OR Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 9+ years of qualified experience.

Qualified Experience Qualified experience includes one or more of the following: Project Management Major Construction Project Engineering Project Controls Project Estimating Comparable internal or external experience in a competitive production environment Candidates should also demonstrate: Successful project management experience across complex initiatives Strong business acumen Responsibility for all PMI PMBOK knowledge areas Knowledge of construction safety practices Contract negotiations Scope development and scope control Cost estimating Construction contracting Project controls and reporting Quality management Risk management Preferred Skills Excellent leadership and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders Strong customer service and relationship management skills Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
