Job description

Maintenance Technician - Mornings Only, Done by 11 AM

Culver’s is hiring a skilled, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to keep our restaurant running smoothly. This is a hands-on, purely maintenance-focused role — no customer service, no floor duties. You’ll work independently during morning hours, knock out repairs and upkeep before the lunch rush, and be done with your day by 10–11 AM. Perfect for tradespeople who want their afternoons back.

Pay & Schedule

•      $20–$24/hour based on experience and skill set — the more you bring, the higher you land

•      Full-time or part-time — we’re flexible for the right person

•      Mornings only — most work wraps by 10–11 AM

•      Stable, consistent schedule you can plan your life around

•      Next Day Pay — get paid the day after you work

•      Health, Dental & Vision benefits available for qualifying team members

•      Employee meal discounts and direct deposit

Why This Schedule Works

If you’re a semi-retired tradesperson, a parent who wants to be home when the kids get off the bus, someone running a side business in the afternoons, or just done with chasing emergency calls at midnight — this is the job. You come in early, do quality work, head home by lunch. No on-call. No nights. No weekends required.

What You’ll Be Doing

•      General repairs throughout the restaurant — fixtures, hardware, and more

•      Service kitchen equipment to ensure reliable day-to-day operation

•      Basic plumbing repairs and upkeep

•      Patch, prep, and paint walls and surfaces as needed

•      Maintain HVAC units and restaurant equipment

•      Power wash and clean exterior areas, awnings, and rooftop equipment

•      Maintain exterior landscaping — mulching, bed upkeep, and trash & debris cleanup

•      Replace or repair exhaust fans, hoods, and ventilation components

•      Routine walkthroughs to catch maintenance needs before they become problems

•      Assist with truck order days — organizing and putting away inventory (2–3x per week)

Skills We’re Looking For

Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred. The more you bring, the higher you land in our pay range:

•      General handyman & repairs

•      Plumbing

•      Painting & drywall

•      Basic electrical

•      HVAC & equipment maintenance

•      Exterior cleaning & power washing

What We’re Looking For in You

•      Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing quality work

•      Able to work independently with minimal supervision

•      Strong problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail

•      Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions

•      Own tools preferred but not required — we’re open to discussing

•      Available mornings; most work should be wrapped by 10–11 AM

Job Details

•      Job Types: Full-Time or Part-Time

•      Shift: Morning (typically done by 10–11 AM)

About Culver's

Sourced by ZipRecruiter

In 1984, Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig’s parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culver's in the family’s beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin, and began serving ButterBurgers® and Frozen Custard. Craveable as our signature combination is, the Culver family knew right away that although the business is centered around the food, it is really about the people. While folks can vividly recall the first time they bit into a ButterBurger or tasted a scoop of rich, creamy Fresh Frozen Custard, it’s our way of welcoming guests that truly makes Culver’s delicious.
