Radiology Technologist
Competitive Pay / Sign-On Bonus / Full-Time

Radiology Technologist Job Summary:
Join a busy Imaging Services Department performing 80,000 exams annually, including CT, MRI, PET Scan, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and X-Ray. The department supports Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Departments.
Radiology Technologist Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiology
  • ARRT Registration required within 90 days post-graduation
  • BLS certification required
Radiology Technologist Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform QC and tube warm-up practices as required
  • Conduct modality-specific quality control (e.g., Phantom Imaging, cassette cleaning)
  • Collaborate with Field Service Engineer to maintain equipment and image quality
  • Follow radiation safety practices and ALARA principles to minimize exposure
  • Use protective barriers, lead aprons, and shields when possible
  • Participate in Radiology Quality Assurance Committee data collection
  • Adhere to Safe Operating Procedures and ODH radiation safety guidelines
  • Review physician orders for accuracy and ensure patient identification
  • Set appropriate exposure settings (KVP, MAS) and accurately position patients
  • Perform exams to provide quality images for physician interpretation
  • Post-process images and educate patients and hospital staff as needed
  • Work under the direction of Radiologist/Physician during procedures
  • In emergencies, act quickly and efficiently for optimal patient outcomes
