Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a Salesforce expert to be part of our Application Development Team. They will be responsible for working with internal/external stakeholders, business and IT teams, to perform solution design and implementation that meets ODM's business needs. As a Salesforce Architect, your responsibilities will include:
  • providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and standards.
  • leading complex initiatives for organizational improvement frameworks in assigned discipline/program(i.e. Salesforce Platform, Azure DevOps).
  • leading and/or participating in architecture and technical design sessions.
  • serving as a subject matter expert in project management best practices and risk management strategies, as applied to Salesforce implementations.
  • troubleshooting and resolving integration and technical issues.
  • researching and validating software release compatibility as well as potential solutions and products for future planning processes.
  • providing strategic roadmap and facilitating execution of strategies.
  • consulting with stakeholders (e.g. end-users, technicians, vendors, and management).

Qualifications
Education - Core undergraduate program in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
AND
Experience - Minimum 4 years combined work experience in any combination of the following: assisting with development and updates to the strategic Information Technology plan, participating in work groups to author Information Technology plan by discipline/program team and/or leading activities to achieve project tasks/meet deadlines, and performing solutions design for assigned discipline/program team (e.g., software development, infrastructure, database administration, security) including 2 years technology related work experience as specified by the agency position description and vacancy/job posting.
