Job description

Caring Transitions of Gahanna/New Albany is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help prepare and ship items to winning bidders from our online auctions.

This is a part-time work-from-home position, typically requiring 5–10 hours per week, with hours varying based on auction activity.  Candidate should reside within 30 -45 minutes from Columbus Ohio.  

What You’ll Do
  • Pull and organize items for winning auction bidders

  • Carefully package items for shipment

  • Print shipping labels and prepare packages to take to post office/ups or for carrier pickup.

  • Ensure the correct items are matched to the correct bidder

  • Use computer programs and online systems to process orders and shipping

  • Keep your work area organized and packages ready for shipment

What You Need
  • Your own reliable computer

  • Comfortable using email, websites, and online programs

  • Ability and willingness to learn new software and systems

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Reliable and dependable

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • A clean, organized workspace suitable for packing and storing auction items temporarily
     

Schedule
  • Part-time: approximately 5–10 hours per week.  Pay starts at $12/hour with possibility of advancing.

  • Hours will vary depending on auction volume

  • Flexible scheduling, but work must be completed within agreed-upon timeframes
