The Division of Human Resources provides quality services to attract, motivate, manage and retain a diverse and competent workforce. The division emphasizes customer service based on consultation and communication with the DODD workforce in order for the agency to more effectively carry out its mission and values.
What You'll Do:
• Assists in the preparation of Medicaid Cost Reports
• Works with the Department of Medicaid to calculate interim rates
• Incorporates audit adjustments into the cost report, calculates final rates
• Assist with developmental center cost report settlements,
• Works with Department of Medicaid to negotiate final settlement
• Uses Medicaid Information Technology System (MITS) to pull monthly remittance advices
• Use the Excel work sheet to submit Medicaid claims to MITS to be processed for payment
• Assists supervisor in review and analysis of fiscal records
• Provides technical assistance in the use of QuickBooks with developmental center internal funds/accounts
• Assists in preparation and analysis of revenue and expenditure tracking for developmental center internal accounts
• Assists in preparation & submission of required state and/or federal fiscal reports
• Establish deliverables
• Reconcile QuickBooks balance to old ledgers (DCIMS/Excel),
• Prepare Bank reconciliation reports for various accounts between QuickBooks and Bank Statements
• Uses Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) Business Intelligence reporting tools to generate & Balance reports (e.g., voucher detail, general ledger, encumbrance balance, revenue/cash balance, etc.)
• Uses Excel functions (e.g., logical lookup & reference, statistical & math functions) to create reports, track & forecast expenditures, revenue & cash.
