Overview
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in Lancaster, Ohio. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Pay range: $1,850 to $1,963 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: short-term acute care hospital. Travel - Temporary Assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for PCU patients using the nursing process
- Administer medications and perform treatments accurately, following physician orders; document actions clearly
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and notify the physician as needed; adjust care plan accordingly
- Provide education to patients and families from admission through discharge, including discharge planning
- Collaborate with the healthcare team; supervise and direct assistive personnel as appropriate
- Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available; report malfunctions to the proper department
- Maintain a safe and clean environment; adhere to safety, infection control, and patient-care policies
Requirements
- Active Ohio license to practice as a registered nurse
- CPR certification required
- Education: completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Experience: previous RN experience preferred
- Ability to work in a PCU setting and to meet the physical and mental demands of night-shift hospital care
