Job description

Oracle Fusion Reporting System Analyst

Location – Columbus OH (HYBRID) Start date - ASAP Rate: DOE

Roles & Responsibilities

The Oracle Fusion Reporting System Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between finance stakeholders and IT report developers. Will work closely with Finance SMEs the I2C and P2P areas. The primary focus is on leveraging Oracle Fusion BICC / BIP reports to meet reporting requirements.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

Understand and document business requirements related to finance reporting in Oracle Fusion. Use the current state report design to identify unique scenarios or other considerations. Use this information to ask questions and gather more comprehensive requirements. Model and design reporting mock-ups or prototypes in Excel. Map data requirements to Oracle Fusion tables/fields.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Manage the report unit testing process to validate that business requirements have been met. Use understanding of data variants and business processes, to define unit test scope and plan. Execute high-level testing and validation to ensure development meets high-level business requirements. Ensure compliance with change request process.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with IT report developers to communicate requirements. Collaborate with business SMEs, to answer questions, validate defects, or document additional requirements that arise during testing. Proven experience as a System Analyst or Reporting Analyst. Strong understanding of finance processes (Invoice to Cash, Procure to Pay). Familiarity with Oracle Fusion data model, reporting tools and technologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
