Job description

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants, is currently seeking a part-time Security Representative. This position will generally work 6pm-midnight, Monday through Friday, but other shifts may be available on occasion.
Essential Job Tasks
Greets, records, instructs, and assists visitors. Observes facility and make reports of unusual appearances, sounds, or scents. Monitors weather conditions, alarm systems, security cameras; coordinate employee actions during emergency situations (evacuation, emergency transport, plant shutdown). Makes detailed written and oral reports of events.
Knowledge and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security related fields desired. Able to handle visitors in a polite and professional manner. Driving duties require proper license and satisfactory driving records. Basic knowledge of computers and good oral and written communication skills are required. Must have working phone or other method of immediate contact.
