As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, bus stops, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe activity, and document incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions in clear and accurate reports.
  • Help maintain an orderly environment at government transportation locations by providing visible presence, communicating professionally with the public, and following Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
