Responsibilities:
  • Working alongside drilling crews on geotechnical field exploration projects
  • Working outside in all types of weather on geotechnical projects
  • Working on rough terrain
  • Experience driving trucks, pulling trailers
  • Lifting up to 85lbs
  • On average 90% travel
  • Hours: Overtime available for anything over 40 hours at time and a half, most days will be 10 plus hours.-
  • Collect and analyze rock, soil, and water samples
  • Process and interpret geological data
  • Collaborate with other geologists, engineers, and scientists on multidisciplinary projects

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field
  • Strong knowledge of geological principles and processes
  • Mechanical knowledge for building and operating field equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
