Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel contract covering multiple zip codes in the greater Cincinnati, OH area.

Details
  • Home health care setting covering multiple zip codes in the greater Cincinnati, OH area, including Norwood, Avondale, Northside, Deer Park, and surrounding neighborhoods
  • Average caseload of 6–7 patients per day, including SOC, ROC, recertification, evaluations, and visits
  • Common diagnoses include CHF, orthopedic conditions, and pneumonia
  • Schedule is five 8-hour days (8am–5pm) with rotating weekends and holidays
  • Computerized charting system used (specific EMR not listed)
  • Clinical manager or educator available 24/7 for emergency support, or 8am–5pm for routine support
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience; new graduates are not preferred
  • Active state or compact (NLC) PT license required — pending licenses will not be accepted; license required if applicable
  • Active BLS certification required — pending certifications will not be accepted
  • Home health experience strongly preferred given the care setting and caseload
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
  • Two-week orientation with a preceptor provided
  • Candidates interview directly with the department manager; no clinical involvement in the interview process
  • Rotating holiday coverage is expected
  • Scrubs or business casual attire accepted
  • A phone and tablet are provided for use during the assignment
  • Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the health system within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
