As a SecurityGuard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Identity Review in Columbus, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport buildings, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report access control concerns or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate with airport operations, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
