The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University seeks applications for a part-time Assistant Professor-Practice in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology. Major responsibilities of this position will include clinical teaching at the pre-doctoral level, supervision of pre-doctoral students and provision of direct patient care in OMFS.

Education and Experience Requirements

• DDS, DMD, or international equivalent degree
• Training certificate from a CODA accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery training program
• Eligibility for a regular (unlimited) dental license by the Ohio State Dental Board
• Board-eligibility or board-certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

The OMS faculty provide full-scope OMS surgical and office-based anesthesia procedures to the College of Dentistry and larger central Ohio community. Additionally, the faculty have admitting and operating privileges at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital, both level one trauma facilities and tertiary care centers for Ohio where they provide facial trauma and odontogenic infection call services 365 days a year.
