ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Registered Nurse - Inpatient Surgery / OR

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

07:00 AM - 05:30 PM, with weekends as needed and required on-call.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing services in the Inpatient Surgery and Operating Room settings. The role involves patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. The RN will work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide postoperative care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current Registered Nurse license required.
  • Completion of personal health history forms as part of onboarding.
  • Required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, with flu vaccination optional.
  • Successful completion of a Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen.
