MRI Tech Radiology / Cardiology – Columbus, OH

  • Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:30 AM – 07:00 PM, mostly) (may require 8-hour shifts to cover vacations)
  • Hours/Week: 40 hours
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • License/Certifications: ARRT registered, BLS, Siemens MRI experience required; advanced ARRT certification preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year as MRI Technologist in outpatient or hospital setting

What You'll Do

  • Perform MRI scans on patients across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Conduct IV starts, obtain vital signs, and screen patients for MRI safety
  • Operate and ensure optimal performance of MRI equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for accurate diagnoses and treatment planning
  • Maintain safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment
  • Support imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion, and perfusion imaging
  • Utilize Siemens MRI systems and EPIC documentation system efficiently

What You Need

  • Required:
    • ARRT certification (registered in Radiography or MRI)
    • BLS certification
    • Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
    • Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, contrast administration, PACS
    • Experience with Siemens MRI equipment
  • Preferred:
    • Advanced ARRT certification
    • Experience with MRI in outpatient or hospital settings
    • Knowledge of various MRI techniques and imaging applications
