About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Cardio - Interventional MD in Ohio!

Our client in Ohio is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a 42-day assignment, beginning Dec 7, 2026. This role involves 7a - 7a shifts, focusing on independent rounding for approximately 8 post-op patients daily, and covering both general and STEMI call within General IP, CCU, and the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Round independently, seeing about 8 post-op patients per day.
  • Cover General and STEMI call.
  • Manage General Cardiology Cases including Chest Pain/ACS, Heart Failure Management, Hypertension/Dyslipidemia, Atrial Fibrillation/Other Arrhythmias, and Valve Disease.
  • Perform EKG Interpretation, Stress Testing, and Echocardiogram Interpretation.
  • Monitor Holter/Event.
  • Execute Interventional Cardiology Cases such as Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization, PCI/Stent Placement, Acute STEMI Management (on-call/cath lab activation), Impella/IABP/MCS Support, and Peripheral Interventions.
  • Work across General IP, CCU, and Cath Lab settings.
