Job description

I. GENERAL SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate ensures that our customers receive the correct parts, in the right quantity, at the right time and in a safe manner. The Warehouse Associate is essential to maintaining the physical plant.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Picking, packing and preparing shipments of customer orders within the same day with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Load and unload delivery trucks daily
- Utilize collaboration by sharing information and skills, assisting other team members, and adaptable to support other departments with meeting the needs of the business.
- Keep a clean and safe work area.
- Must participate in all mandatory safety training as offered.
III. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
a) Position Specific Competencies / Experience
- Knowledgeable in typical leverage and maneuverability tools.
- Knowledgeable of hazardous materials shipping procedures.
- Must be able to stand for more than half time a given shift or Workday, in addition to walking/stooping/kneeling/climbing
- Ability to lift or maneuver 40 lbs and use tools and equipment for products that weigh up to 100 lbs.
b) Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
