Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist
Full-Time | Competitive Pay
Ultrasound Technologist Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assess cardiovascular health, aiding in the accurate diagnosis and development of treatment plans.
Ultrasound Technologist Job Requirements:
  • Registered by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as:
    • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), or
    • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
  • Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as:
    • RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer), or
    • RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 30 days of employment required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification within 6 months of employment preferred
Ultrasound Technologist Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-invasive cardiovascular ultrasound exams, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare providers to interpret ultrasound results and diagnose conditions such as heart disease, valve issues, and blood flow irregularities.
  • Capture high-quality images by adjusting equipment settings according to patient needs.
  • Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
