Job description

Seeking an  Senior  .NET Full Stack Developer experience in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD workflows.  Responsible for the full software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and architecture to coding, testing, and deployment. Responsible for  upgrading legacy applications and maintaining secure, scalable web applications that interface across multiple state agencies.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

·         Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust web applications using the .NET framework (.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#) and modern frontend technologies.

·         Database & Integration: Architect and optimize SQL Server databases, write complex stored procedures, and build secure Web APIs / RESTful services for secure cross-agency data sharing.

·         Modernization & Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing legacy systems, troubleshoot application errors, and refactor code to comply with modern state IT security standards.

·         Collaboration & DevOps: Work alongside Business Analysts, Project Managers, and System Administrators in an Agile environment. Maintain source code control using Git/Azure DevOps and assist with CI/CD deployment pipelines.

·         Documentation & Compliance: Author technical documentation, system architectures, and user manuals. Ensure all applications meet accessibility (ADA/Section 508) and state data security protocols.

Technical Skills & Experience

·         Backend: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework.

·         Frontend: Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor).

·         Database: Strong SQL Server skills 

·         Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD workflows.

·         Security: Understanding of secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10) and identity management (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
