Title: Recruiter – Industrial Staffing


MSI Recruiting is seeking a Bilingual Recruiter (English/Spanish) to support our growing staffing practice in the Light Industrial sector. This individual will be responsible for owning much of the recruiting that needs to take place Ohio, including the ability to be an onsite staffing resource for clients when applicable (travel considerations).


This is a grass roots recruiting role for someone who enjoys being out in the community, interacting with potential candidates and contractors and staying closely connected to the day to day workforce needs of the operation. Prior experience being strategic and thinking of outside-the-box ways to recruit industrial workforce at scale is strong desired, and will be a requirement of the role.


The ideal candidate has experience recruiting within manufacturing, warehouse, and/or light industrial environments and is comfortable working directly with both hourly employees and client leadership.


Responsibilities

  • Daily recruitment of new industrial workforce candidates. This will be executed through a combination of active job board recruitment, job ad management, and most importantly, the ability to engage local community organizations to organize untapped talent.
  • When applicable, serve as the onsite recruiting presence for MSI at a client facility.
  • Spend significant time on the floor engaging with employees, supervisors, and operations leadership to understand staffing needs and workforce challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with English and Spanish speaking employees and candidates.
  • Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates to support high volume and changing workforce demands.
  • Partner closely with supervisors and client leadership to identify immediate and upcoming hiring needs.
  • Conduct onsite candidate interviews, onboarding, orientation, and new hire support.
  • Maintain regular communication with new hires and employees to support retention and quickly address workforce concerns.
  • Act as a key point of contact between , employees, candidates, and client leadership.
  • Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, attendance trends, turnover, and other workforce needs.
  • Provide regular hiring updates and workforce insights to client leadership.
  • Represent MSI professionally while delivering a strong candidate, employee, and client experience.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience within staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or light industrial environments.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and verbal.
  • Experience managing high volume hourly hiring.
  • Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment and regularly interacting with employees on the production floor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with hourly employees, supervisors, and senior leadership.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where staffing priorities can change quickly.
  • Hands on mentality with a willingness to step in wherever needed to support recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and workforce needs.
  • Adept with technology, the ability to use recruitment tools, CRM/ERP systems, and a willingness to embrace new technology to stay ahead of hiring trends
