Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Siemens scanner proficiency for a night shift position at an acute care hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Details
  • Acute care hospital MRI unit with 2 Siemens 1.5T Aera scanners
  • Procedures include neuro, MSK, abdominal, breast, enterography, and pacemaker patient scans
  • ICU patients are scanned regularly using MRI-safe ventilator, IVAC, and monitoring equipment
  • Conscious sedation is not performed at this facility
  • Cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies, and MSK extremity scans are not performed in this unit
  • Epic EMR in use
  • 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Every 3rd weekend required
  • Holiday coverage as assigned
  • 3 weekday call shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered with strong Level I or large hospital background
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
  • ARRT (MRI) or NMTCB certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with IV starts strongly preferred
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Cardiac MRI experience is a significant plus for this role
  • Charcoal grey scrubs required
  • Candidate's permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
