Your Role
Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis related to the Technology Capital Project Investment Portfolio. This associate will leverage functional expertise to provide operational leaders insights and identify risks/opportunities to their business. The position is expected to streamline financial tracking and controls through discipline and continuous improvement, collaborate with a diverse group of partners for financial support, and develop presentation materials for business partners and executive leadership.
Your Impact
  • Perform business, financial, and operational analysis to help influence management decision-making

  • Cross functionally collaborate to develop, review and/or analyze financial and non-financial business cases related to technology capital investment projects

  • Review financials and collaborate with partners to ensure that financial controls and tracking are maintained

  • Review and influence monthly technology project forecasts, allocate costs, and publish monthly reporting to key stakeholders

  • Partner with multiple non-financial and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared goals

  • Manages monthly forecasts and monthly close, including accruals and variance explanations

  • Support annual budgeting and long-range strategic planning process

  • Complete project post assessments (i.e. hindsights) to ensure the achievement of stated financial and non-financial objectives of the business case were met

  • Perform adhoc and special project analysis as directed

Must possess the ability to:
  • Collaborate effectively with partners with diverse skillsets

  • Maintain disciplined attention to staying updated on financial inputs to ensure processes work seamlessly

  • Mine for areas of opportunity to streamline processes to enable continued productivity increases

  • Manage multiple workstreams concurrently while effectively prioritizing them

  • Comfortably present business results, analysis and recommendations to cross-functional partners and senior leaders

Your Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in financial reporting or analysis role
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint
