Job description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Columbus, OH. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide home health services to patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability. This role emphasizes patient-centered evaluations, development of individualized plans of care, and collaboration with clinical teams while exploring a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Ohio Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Home health experience required. Experience providing OT services in patients‘ homes, including assessment, plan of care development, and oversight of OTAs.
  • Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) electronic medical record preferred.
  • Ability to travel within assigned coverage areas, including Franklin County and parts of Madison and Delaware Counties.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor‘s degree.
  • Preferred: strong communication and customer service skills, flexibility, and ability to multitask.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Home Health.
  • Shift Name: Evenings.
  • Shift Details: Evenings 2000-0400.
  • Weekly Hours Guarantee: 32 hours per week.
  • Coverage Areas: Franklin County, and portions of Madison and Delaware Counties; candidate must be able to travel between patient visits. Mileage reimbursement provided between visits from first patient to last patient.
  • On Call/Weekend Requirement: None.
