About the Role

We are seeking a self-motivated, results-driven Merchandise Specialist to join our computer integration business. • Monitor inventory levels for assigned categories, maintaining targeted weeks-of-supply goals while considering sales trends, seasonality, and budget requirements
  • Support company in-stock objectives to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
  • Create, review, and update purchase orders as needed to support inventory and merchandising strategies
  • Communicate regularly with vendors through email, phone, conference calls, and meetings regarding purchase order confirmations, modifications, cancellations, shipment tracking, and issue resolution
  • Partner with the Allocator to identify inventory opportunities and challenges, providing timely recommendations and feedback.
  • Manage secondary forecasting systems and collaborate with the Allocator to support primary forecasting activities and inventory planning.
  • Coordinate advertising and promotional inventory by ordering products, managing replenishment, allocating merchandise by store, ensuring timely delivery, and verifying pricing accuracy
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions, including vendor onboarding, purchase order management, markdown processing, pricing updates, price protection documentation, markdown eligibility management, and inventory deck maintenance
  • Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying alternative sourcing opportunities through distribution channels, online marketplaces, and other approved suppliers
  • Assist with new store openings by coordinating inventory orders, transfer shipments, discrepancy resolution, and additional operational support as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred; or equivalent work experience. Supply chain manufacturing integration is a plus
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to achieving goals
  • Proactive and accountable professional who demonstrates initiative, takes ownership of responsibilities, and continuously evaluates and improves personal performance
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
