Individual Contributor position that plays a meaningful role in helping the Bath & Body Works brand deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality products to customers. This role collaborates with Product Development, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams to identify risks, solve problems, and continuously improve product quality throughout the product lifecycle.
The role independently leads quality investigations, evaluates performance data, and partners with suppliers and cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, collaboration, and analytical thinking to strengthen quality systems, improve manufacturing performance, and support successful product launches.


Responsibilities:
QA Program Execution (40%)
•    Conduct quality assessments for new products, packaging, formulations, and manufacturing processes to uncover potential risks and recommend mitigation plans. 
•    Support commercialization, scale-up, and launch activities for new and reformulated products.
•    Investigate process, component and product deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
•    Review supplier and laboratory testing data to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Partner with Quality Labs, Contract Manufacturers, and external testing laboratories to support product approvals and testing requirements. 
•    Provide technical input on test plans for new product launches.
•    Provide technical quality support to product development, procurement, production, packaging, and other internal teams. 
•    Continuously assess and review post-launch product performance, recommending improvements to enhance quality, reduce risk, and improve customer satisfactio

Quality Control (QC) & Issue Management (30%)
•    Lead investigations of quality issues involving products, packaging, suppliers, and production methods. 
•    Analyze inspection, testing, and quality performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
•    Perform product evaluations and inspections to verify compliance with established specifications.
•    Document investigation findings, communicate recommendations, and raise significant quality concerns when appropriate.
•    Support customer complaint investigations and resolution activities.
•    Apply quality tools, statistical methods, and risk-based decision-making to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Vendor Performance & Continuous Improvement (30%)
•    Partner with domestic and international contract manufacturers to support quality and compliance objectives.
•    Monitor supplier performance and collaborate on improvement plans to address quality concerns and strengthen process capability.
•    Support supplier qualifications, audits, manufacturing assessments, and first-production approvals.
•    Communicate quality standards, specifications, and expectations to suppliers and internal partners.
•    Lead or participate in continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
•    Mentor and support to junior level team members. 
•    Maintain quality procedures, standards, and documentation to support consistent execution and compliance.
 

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of quality, manufacturing, product development, or engineering experience.
  • Experience with quality planning, project management, quality control processes, statistical analysis, and GMP.
  • Proven experience leading in-depth problem analysis and applying solutions to correct and prevent issues.
  • Experience working directly with suppliers, outsourced manufacturers, and third-party laboratories.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects and priorities with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Proven track record in making sound technical decisions based on data and risk assessment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality-related data systems.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% domestically and internationally as business needs require.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field, or equivalent experience, desired.
