Overview
Are you an experienced electrical engineer who thrives on designing large-scale power systems for complex industrial facilities? BlastOne, a rapidly expanding, family-oriented global leader in the Industrial Corrosion Control Industry, is looking for an Electrical Engineer to take ownership of electrical and controls design for multi-million-dollar projects.
This is your chance to be part of a team building blasting and coating facilities that power shipyards, industrial plants, and defense infrastructure. You'll design everything from main power runs and distribution systems to the controls that keep our facilities running safely and efficiently.
The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
  • Design 480VAC power distribution systems, heavy-load feeders, and large-facility electrical layouts.
  • Specify and design electrical and controls systems for industrial blasting and coating facilities.
  • Produce schematics, panel layouts, and detailed electrical documentation in AutoCAD.
  • Ensure all designs meet NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and SMEs to integrate electrical systems into overall facility design.
  • Support procurement and vendors to ensure components meet standards and specifications.
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project sites.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or large-facility projects.
  • Strong background in heavy power design (main feeders, distribution systems, and high-load equipment).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore a plus.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and related codes.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The Perks of Working at BlastOne
  • Great family culture with a meaningful mission
  • Flexible time off
  • Generous 401k policy
  • Industry-leading health insurance & benefits program
  • The opportunity to design high-profile, large-scale industrial facilities
  • Career growth opportunities into senior engineering and leadership roles
