Python scripting with Java and AWS
Columbus OH

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Python.
- Build automation scripts and tools for data processing, infrastructure management, and DevOps workflows.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure compliance with banking security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize application performance and scalability in cloud environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Python development.
- Strong experience with Python scripting for automation, data transformation, or infrastructure tasks.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/EKS.
- Understanding of banking domain standards, including data security, compliance, and audit requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect)
- Experience with Kafka, Spring Boot, or Flask
- Exposure to DevOps practices and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack)
