About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Neonatal NP in Ohio!

We are seeking a dedicated Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day assignment starting Nov 16, 2026, in Ohio. This role involves 12-hour day and night shifts, primarily focusing on comprehensive care for critically ill premature and term neonates within a NICU, including attending C-sections and deliveries.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage 12-hour day and night shifts
  • Provide care within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • Attend C-sections and deliveries
  • Care for critically ill premature and term neonates
  • Perform procedures including intubation, umbilical line placement, and thoracentesis
  • Conduct preferred procedures such as lumbar puncture and chest tube placement
  • Collaborate with the PICC team for PICC line placement
  • No transport team responsibilities are required

  • Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC) and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
