Cardiac Intensivist Columbus, OH

OhioHealth is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Intensivist to join our expanding cardiac critical care program at Riverside Methodist Hospital, one of Ohio's premier tertiary care centers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to delivering advanced cardiovascular critical care while helping shape the future growth of a rapidly evolving Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Join a growing, high-acuity cardiac critical care program caring for both medical and surgical cardiac patients.
  • Manage complex cardiovascular conditions including:
    • Cardiogenic shock
    • Advanced heart failure
    • Mechanical circulatory support (MCS)
    • ECMO
    • Post-cardiac surgery critical care patients
  • Work alongside an experienced team of cardiac intensivists, advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, and cardiovascular specialists
  • Robust APP support with a strong multidisciplinary "shock team" approach.
  • Teaching opportunities with:
    • Cardiology Fellows
    • Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellows
    • Internal Medicine Residents
    • APP Critical Care Fellows
  • Opportunity to contribute to ongoing program development and innovation in advanced cardiac critical care.

Requirements:

  • BC/BE Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Anesthesia (for Anesthesia, must be dual certified for cardiac/critical care)
  • TEE experience encouraged, with critical care ECHO boards preferred
  • ELSO E-AEC certification preferred
