Job description

Our client, a top personal care manufacturing company is looking for a QA Lab Specialist in Reynoldsburg! The successful candidate will have a background in a quality, laboratory or manufacturing setting, with familiarity in quality systems, inspections, audits, and data entry software.
Role overview:
  • Contract Role: 5 months
  • Pay: $20.68/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
  • Executes routine product audits, accurately documents and logs results into quality systems, and communicates findings to support investigations.
  • Manages, processes, and releases products from Quality Management hold status, while reviewing first production samples.
  • Maintains, organizes, and monitors inventory for product standards, reference materials, and Product Design References (PDRs), coordinating the disposal of expired items.
  • Assists with product testing, visual assessments, photography, sorting, rework activities, and data entry for quality notifications in SAP.
  • Organizes and stores retained samples, manages sample purges, and oversees the proper disposal of non-saleable or excess products.
  • Handles department shipments, maintains data logs and tracking systems, and ensures overall laboratory organization, cleanliness, and inventory management.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) along with basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Background in a quality, laboratory, manufacturing, or warehouse setting, with familiarity in quality systems, inspections, audits, and data entry software.
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, handle high volumes of samples, and lift or move product materials as needed.
  • Emphasizes strict adherence to procedures to properly manage products, standards, and records while supporting daily quality audits and investigations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and clear communication and teamwork abilities.
