Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineering & Product Development

$25.00 per hour

Monday-Friday, First Shift

New Albany, Ohio (Hybrid – 3 Days In Office)

4-Month Contract

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the development, evaluation, and implementation of manufacturing processes used to transition new products and technologies from prototype through production
  • Evaluate manufacturing process requirements including process flow, equipment, instrumentation, control points, control systems, and materials of construction
  • Assist with identifying potential manufacturing challenges including contamination risks, material compatibility, process limitations, and production requirements
  • Participate on cross-functional product development teams to ensure new products can be successfully transferred into manufacturing
  • Coordinate project activities associated with moving products from prototype and development stages into full manufacturing environments
  • Support the evaluation and identification of new contract manufacturing partners based on technical and production requirements
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and external manufacturing partners to communicate project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain project progress

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or another related engineering discipline
  • 0-5 years of experience within technical services, product development, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related technical environment
  • Recent engineering or science graduates with relevant internship, co-op, laboratory, manufacturing, or project experience are encouraged to apply
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, process flow, equipment, instrumentation, or process controls preferred
