Job description

Position Summary: Performs various Distribution functions such as, but not limited to: receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, equipment operation, etc. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company and represents the organization in a professional manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
  • Load/Unload trucks as needed.
  • Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.
  • Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
  • Drive company vehicle to vendors DC's to pick up Will Call material.
  • Stock and document material.
  • Pulls orders for delivery to job sites. Ensures items pulled are correct and in working order.
  • Operate sit down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.
  • Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.
  • Ensures cleanliness and organization in the warehouse is at optimal levels.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience/Qualifications Required:
  • Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
  • Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
  • Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.

Job Skills:
  • Team-oriented attitude with willingness to assist and collaborate
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in fast paced distribution center environment

Physical requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on feet for extended periods
  • May require standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movements
  • May involve working in varying temperatures depending on the facility

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Special Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
