Job description

MAX Fitness & Wellness is growing and looking to add a Group Fitness Instructor to our coaching team. We're seeking an energetic, engaging coach who is passionate about health and wellness and genuinely enjoys helping others succeed!
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a community-focused environment and believes that fitness is about more than just the workout - it's about confidence, consistency, and connection.
What You'll Do
  • Coach engaging group fitness classes including strength training, cardio conditioning, and kickboxing
  • Create a welcoming, motivating environment for members of all ages and fitness levels
  • Demonstrate and coach proper exercise technique with energy and clarity
  • Build authentic relationships with members and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Lead by example through a healthy, active lifestyle

Experience & Qualifications
  • 1+ year of group fitness coaching experience required
  • Nationally accredited fitness certification preferred
  • Background in strength training, cardio-based formats, and/or kickboxing
  • CPR/AED certification required
  • Comfortable using basic technology (Zoom, scheduling platforms, virtual class tools)
Schedule & Availability
  • Part-time position with potential to coach multiple classes per week
  • Monday and Friday availability strongly preferred
  • Early morning availability (5am, 6am, 7am) is a plus
  • Some weekend availability may be required
