Job description

Does working with dogs all day every day sound like a dream lifestyle to you? Well if so, Off Leash K9 Training wants you!

To start, all potential candidates should check us out at:

www.columbusdogtrainers.com

https://www.youtube.com/user/OffLeashK9Columbus

Off Leash K9 Training, LLC currently has over 140 locations throughout the United States, and we are looking at adding an additional trainer to our Columbus location.

While prior experience working with dogs is required, professional experience is not necessary and training is provided for this position. Off Leash K9 Training focuses on constant improvement and ongoing education, consistently working with the top trainers (Michael Ellis and Stephanie Vichinsky to name a couple!) in the industry to provide instruction.

Most of our trainers make between 50k to 60k their first year!

STRICT CRITERIA FOR POTENTIAL CANDIDATES. ALL MUST BE MET:

- Motivated and outgoing personality

- Have a true passion for working with dogs and a strong, self-motivated work ethic.

- Able to work well with people (teach lessons, take calls, etc.).

- ABLE TO KEEP UP TO TWO BOARD AND TRAIN DOGS IN YOUR HOME. This is a huge selling point for clients, knowing that their dog will be with a handler their entire stay and not crated at a facility. This is one of the reasons we can charge, and pay, more than average.

- Finally, selected candidate would need to either spend 17 days training at our HQ in northern Virginia for certification, or do a local certification that may take longer depending on intermittent scheduling. We do not charge for training and certification.

Job Duties include:

- Private lessons with clients and their dogs

- 2 Week Board and Train dogs

- Video editing for Board and Train dogs

- Calls and emails
