Job Title: Electrical Engineer 

Department:  Engineering 

Reports To:  Sr. Engineering Mgr.

Position Summary: The Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, testing, and launch of the electrical power conversion products. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, this role provides hands-on engineering support throughout the product development lifecycle, including prototype builds, validation testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and launch of new products with a cross-functional team
  • Assist with project planning, activities, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support the development of product design specifications and validation test plans
  • Support analysis of the circuit performance of EE circuits using typical EE lab tools
  • Conduct electrical testing and analysis using standard laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
  • Document test results 
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical and system-level issues.
  • Provide hands-on support during prototype builds, testing, and production launches. 
  • Perform basic mechanical fabrication using standard shop equipment for prototypes and test fixtures
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management teams.
  • Maintain multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines and priorities.
  • Travel up to 10% as required for testing, supplier visits, customer support, or partner site visits. 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 0-3 years of electrical engineering experience, including internships, co-op experience, or entry-level engineering positions.
  • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits, power electronics, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with standard electrical test equipment and laboratory practices.
  • Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and be flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
  • Experience in interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail, accountability, and self-motivation
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products
