Job description

Seeking an experienced Product Engineer (5+ years) to support the development and integration of automotive audio and electronic components. This role focuses on component packaging, vehicle layout development, supplier coordination, and cross-functional communication throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities:

  • Support design and integration of speakers, switches, brackets, and other vehicle electronic components.
  • Develop component layout proposals and packaging studies using CATIA.
  • Coordinate with body, interior, styling, and supplier teams to ensure design feasibility.
  • Create parts lists, support variation management activities, and track component implementation.
  • Participate in concept-to-production development activities.
  • Review supplier proposals and provide engineering feedback.
  • Communicate technical concerns and support decision-making across departments.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of automotive product engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of CATIA (advanced surfacing not required).
  • Experience with component packaging, vehicle layouts, and supplier coordination.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage part ownership and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience supporting components through the full product development cycle preferred.
