Job Title: Assistant Superintendent

Location: Mt. Vernon, OH

Schedule:Monday-Friday

You're Role in the Blueprint:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support and lead on-site operations in coordination with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can help drive the day-to-day field execution, manage crews, and keep work progressing safely, efficiently, and on schedule.This person should be a self-starter who takes ownership of their scope while working as part of a larger project team.

WhatYou'llBuild:

  • Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to execute the project plan, providing daily on-site leadership to field crews and subcontractors
  • Coordinate and oversee assigned phases of construction from start through closeout, managing workflow, sequencing, andmanpowerto support the project schedule
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensureaccurateexecution -identifyingand resolving field issues quickly to avoid delays or rework
  • Conduct daily huddles and communicate regularly with the Superintendent and Project Manager on progress, challenges, and solutions
  • Monitor quality of work to meet company and client expectations
  • Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance
  • Track materials, equipment, and deliveries to support uninterrupted workflow
  • Maintain an organized, professional jobsite and perform hands-on carpentry, finish work, and punch list tasks as needed

Your Foundation:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience with priorforemanor lead experiencerequired
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage crews and hold accountability
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and best practices; ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Proven ability to keep projects on schedule and adapt to changing conditions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
