Job description

The LGES–Honda Joint Venture, located in Jeffersonville, Ohio, is leading the transformation of the auto industry through the development and production of large lithium‐ion polymer batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage applications. As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in our fast‐paced manufacturing environment, supporting processes from materials management to module production.

Operators are responsible for transporting and loading materials, operating and monitoring production equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow quality and safety standards while working collaboratively to achieve production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and load machinery and equipment according to production specifications
  • Monitor gauges, controls, and indicators to ensure proper machine functionality
  • Navigate and utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
  • Track and manage material inventory
  • Perform and document quality checks
  • Conduct basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazard protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with 5S3R Standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
  • Escalate issues per company protocol
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
