Fire Protection Sales Professional - Columbus, OH

About the Role

Are you passionate about building connections and making a real impact with your technical know-how? As a Fire Protection Sales Professional, you'll work hands-on with customers, helping them understand their fire protection options and guiding projects from concept to completion. You'll have a direct role in making businesses safer-and in keeping our Columbus branch thriving!

What You'll Do
  • Build strong relationships with owners, general contractors, and partners to grow our design-build business.
  • Collaborate with customers to pinpoint their fire protection needs and suggest the best solutions for each project.
  • Manage an active pipeline of proposals and opportunities to support the sales plan.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, bids, and proposals.
  • Join project kick-off meetings to help projects start off right.
  • Pitch in with other tasks as needs arise-everyone at Viking helps each other succeed!
What We're Looking For
  • Required: 2+ years of sales experience (any industry).
  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Commercial and/or industrial fire protection sales experience.
  • Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills-friendly, professional, and clear.
  • Required: Solid organizational and multitasking skills; able to work independently and proactively.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with fire protection systems, NFPA codes, or the construction industry.
  • Preferred: Experience with CRM tools or proposal tracking software.
